What They Didn’t Teach Me in Design School
Daniel, Aaron, and I discuss some of the things I wish they told us in Design school.
There are always things when you graduate and get into the professional world we wish we knew. We touch a few things. Of course its impossible for Design Schools to teach every possible outcome you will encounter. We believe there are a few basics that should be emphasized. Some schools work on this others don’t. If you find yourself at a Design School that doesn’t practice some of these basics you can always work on them by yourself. Most importantly as a new professional working with others and having multiple people critique your work is going to be a regular occurrence. Learn to take those criticisms without taking it personally. Design is a great profession and often takes inputs from all types of people.
